This time, I listened to all the songs as I cleaned my room and as part of my routine. I bought the album again in the days after college when good ol’ iTunes was prime competitor for other online music stores. It was a repeat play that I just memorized and sang to myself a few times when I was too lazy to do anything else. This is the song that I had spent time in my room peering into the jukebox to see if I could find it again. I remember that there was a song that stood out to me as well called Sri Ramalakswamy which always stuck in my mind because of the haunting melody and instrumental that accompanied it. I listened to it over and over again as I crammed for my finals during midterms and over the summer after. All my roommates were already asleep at the time and there was nothing like music on in the room meant entirely for study or sleep, so this little vinyl disc was the perfect choice. Being a sucker for a deal, since this was back in the days before iTunes and piracy became the norm, I purchased it immediately and took it to my dorm room to enjoy it there. As I got home, I did the maths on the box and discovered I was paying a dollar more for MP3 files compared to the vinyl. I was pretty starved at the time and was unable to pass it up.
I remember seeing this one for sale at a local music store when I was out of college.
